What’s new for designers, May 2014

Styles come and trends go. The ones that keep around the lengthiest do so because they fix a particular issue. A pattern that is well-known right now for that very purpose, is difficult elements; components that act normally until we search, and then sustain their existence on the site somehow.

The pattern began with sidebars, but where it’s really become well-known is headers. Why? Because headers usually contain routing, and chronic routing is well-known with customers.

In this guide we’ll make a headlines that stays to the top of the viewport, but so that it does not intervene with the material, we’re going to reduce it when the customer scrolls down the site.
